Equitas Gurukul Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Trichy, proudly stands as the first Gurukul established by EDIT in 2010, initially enrolling students from LKG to VI Std.
The school has grown consistently, achieving five consecutive years of 100% pass results in Std. XII Board exams.
Presently, the school boasts a total student strength of 1275, supported by a dedicated faculty of 64 members and an alumni network of 146 students.
In the academic year 2023-24, the school attained remarkable success, recording a perfect 100% pass rate in the X, XI, and XII Board exams, highlighting its unwavering commitment to academic excellence.

Mrs. Ankayal Kanni, M.Sc., B.Ed., HDSE

An experienced and committed educationist with 18 years of experience in the field of Education, Mrs. Ankayal Kanni grew up to become the Principal In-charge of Trichy Gurukul.
As a long-standing teacher of Social Sciences, French and Economics, she is passionate about being a teacher as well as developing her teachers.
Her potential for bringing out academic excellence among her students during her tenure as a teacher makes her an able school administrator.
With her wealth of experience and empathetic leadership, Mrs. Ankayal Kanni is upgraded as the principal of the school to make a significant impact in the field of education.
